Good subs and nice shop! I came here for lunch and an Italian sub and I got the crazy Dave. Great size portion and sub but it was way too much sprinkle cheese compared to the traditional slices you would expect. Still a great sub and would come back and try others!
Stopped in for lunch today and had the Italian Beef. It was fantastic and so stuffed with meat, cheese and banana peppers that I could only eat and half of the sandwich. I had forgotten how great the fries are. The walls are decorated from top to bottom with rock and roll history and I always find something new. Paul and the crew were working hard and the service was great. Highly recommended!
Our sandwiches were delicious. Tons of selections. Good gluten-free bread. We liked the rock n roll decor.
The food is delicious and filling. The staff is welcoming and friendly. They are quick in their service and preparing my food. I love the restaurant decorations and music they play. I highly recommend this location.

I love grabbing a bite to eat here !! And if you haven't been make sure to stop in . I recommend one of the pastrami sandwiches with fresh cut fries . Get some honey mustard on the side for dipping . The staff is fun and very down to earth .
UPDATE - Adding a couple of photos from lunch this week. My favorite peace steak and their special for the day, the Hippie Chicken which was topped by a nice aioli. Recommend this place. Street parking.
Cool sub shop in Mount Vernon! Jerry & good music vibes. Subs excellent! Highly (no pun attended ) recommended! Peps working there super fun! . ***The original Dave's in Chagrin Falls as well.
Once again, we stopped by Dave's and the place has (thankfully) not changed at all. Huge subs, gigantic servings of fries and bright sodas easily filled our group of 6 to the brim. Hats off to the folks at Dave's for keeping it going. If we're ever in Mt. Vernon again, this will be the first stop for eats!
Best part of these Sammies is the bread. It tasted fresh and isn't super hard to chew like one freaky fast sub place I know of The tuna was a little different than I was used to with the cheese and all but still good and very filling. My one sub probably could've fed two. There is only street parking from what I could tell but luckily we snagged a spot pretty easily
